Courtney holds the baby blanket and says "I'm sorry baby"
She starts to cry
Jason comes home - Courtney is asleep
He gently wakes her up
She says "You came back". He wants to know what else he would do.
She says to get away from her as far as possible
He tells her he isn't leaving - no matter what
He just hates feeling like he can't help her when she needs him
They talk about the baby blanket she is holding. She tells him it
is the only thing she has that proves there was a baby
She thinks maybe she shouldn't have told him about the miscarriage
- it would have been easier had he not known
He tells her that he could see something tearing her up inside.
A secret between them would have just driven them farther apart
She apologizes to him, saying she wants to get over this and bounce
back but she can't. She is trapped in a vicious cycle of anger and grief
Jason reminds her of when they were trapped in the snow and they talked about going away together
But they never had the chance because other things kept coming up.
He tells right now, there is nothing more important than them
He asks her if she will go away with him
He tells her "Just let me help you, ok?"
Courtney is packed and puts the baby blanket in the closet. Jason comes down
She tells him by the time they get back, maybe she will give it away. Jason says there is no deadline
She wants to start letting go of the pain and realizing what she has - starting with him
Courtney: "I have to stop hiding things from you"
